Carol, Mike, the kids and Alice too need your help!

Don't you dare make our "Mom" cry!!

Don’t you dare make our “Mom” cry for Mother’s Day!!

No, it’s not because she just found out she has to make the meatloaf instead of Alice from now on.  She just found out that our May 10th performance is in serious need of reservations!  We need another two dozen or so people to get their rezzies in by… Friday the 3rd, aka tomorrow!!  PLEASE!!!

Sorry for the last-minute notice, folks!  We just found out last week ourselves.  So, for anyone who has not made plans for Mother’s Day weekend, why not get a jump start and take your mom to see one of the most-loved moms of the 1970s!  Here is the info:

Come watch our spoof of the classic TV blended family!  Mike Brady has been named Architect of the Year, so of course the entire family travels with him to watch him accept the award, including Alice.  Can the Brady Bunch solve the case when a mysterious and violent death occurs?  You’ll keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on laughing all through the night with lots of classic bits!

Due to staged violence, this show is rated PG.  At least 6 audience members become characters in the show, so if you have someone you’d like to ‘volunteer’ for us, bring ’em along!

Reservations Required!  $70/person includes limited exploration of the Castle, Performance, Supper Buffet from Gourmet Catering, Dessert and Coffee.  Cash bar.

Seating is limited so call 303.688.4600 or visit http://cherokeeranch.org/crcPages/murder_home.php by this Friday, May 3rd!!  Seating promptly at 7:00.

Solve the mystery and win a fabulous prize!

A Very Brady Murder

Last month I mentioned that I’d be sending out a second blog/newsletter in April to announce auditions for our next new show, Match Game Murder Mystery.  However, we are taking that show in a slightly different direction and have cast the show.  Our next auditions will likely be sometime in the Fall when we’ll be casting  our holiday show for this year as well as looking ahead to 2014.

Speaking of looking ahead, be sure to take a look at our Performance Schedule, conveniently located on its own page on our website.  Unless we forget, which can happen on rare occasion, all our performances, auditions and special events are listed right there.  So, if you see a date with nothing scheduled, that means you should call us and book a private performance right away, LOL!  This is just a friendly reminder that we can travel and perform at nearly any venue.  You’re not locked in to have “dinner” theatre (however all our shows are a three act play with two intermissions, and that cannot change).  We can even be available for a weekday booking, given enough notice.

And speaking of private performances, we’d like to thank The Briarwood Inn for allowing us the opportunity to perform for a last-minute private booking a few weeks ago.  It was our first time in The Briarwood and it was a blast!  Special thanks to Bri, Kate and the rest of the staff of The Briarwood for welcoming us and making the luncheon event flow pretty seamlessly!  And more thanks to Cindy Bergenbright and The Edge Theater for the lead in the first place!  We hope The Briarwood Inn will invite us back for some public performances as well.  Do you know of a great restaurant that would be a good fit for our shows?  E-mail matthew@moproductions.net with the restaurant’s name & address and contact person’s info as well, and if the lead turns into a bonafide performance that takes place, you will be paid a Finders Fee!

Okay, I need to get back to finishing writing Match Game Murder Mystery on top of 30 million other things.  And even though it’s months away, let yesterday’s weather remind you that Christmas is not that far off, and MO Productions is taking bookings for public and private holiday parties.  Don’t miss out!

Kind Regards,

Matthew D. Osmun – Owner/Producer/Director
