10 Months. 11 Shows. Significant Dates. More audience. We’re Lovin’ 2013 and Think You Will Too!!

Happy February, everyone!  We hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day this week instead of a massacre!

MO Productions is thrilled to announce our 2013 season with Cherokee Ranch & Castle!  Below are our public performance dates for the Castle.  Other dates may be added, and you may also book a private performance at the Castle as well.  The Castle has opted for a second year to keep Antiques Revengeshow exclusively to them, so the only way to see this creepy, funny show is to attend one of the three public shows below or to book a private performance at the Castle by calling Linda Gould at 303.688.5555 ext 3.

Before we list the shows let us point out that these will not be the only performances we have this year, nor is Cherokee Ranch & Castle the only place we perform at.  We are fortunate to have the Castle as our “Home Base” and to debut each new production we mount with them, but we are at heart a touring entertainment company who can perform in just about any banquet space or large dining area, including your home!  If you know of a restaurant, country club, banquet facility, etc that you would think we’d be a good fit for, please let us know!

A couple changes for this year: We will perform mostly on Fridays and Sundays and admission is now $70/person for all shows.   Doors will open on Fridays at 7:00, on Saturdays at 6:30 or on Sundays at 3:30.  Please note which day the show you wish to attend is on so you know what time to arrive.  Also, we are excited to announce that we have been able in increase our seating capacity at the Castle by more than 50% and will now be able to fit over 100 people comfortably!!  All rezzies for our public shows at Cherokee Ranch & Castle may be purchased online at http://cherokeeranch.org/crcPages/murder_home.php or called in to the Reservation Hotline: 303.688.4600.

Okay, enough suspense!  Here are the shows and dates.  We are really excited, as some of these dates could not be more appropriate for the corresponding shows:

Antiques Revengeshow

How much is your “little treasure” worth?
Or is it a possessed possession?

Antiques Revengeshow – Our creepiest show is baaaaaack!  March 15 (The Ides of March), September 13 (Friday the 13th) and October 4 (10-4, Good Buddy!)

A Very Brady Murder

And soon it was much more than a hunch that this group must somehow solve a murder!

A Very Brady Murder – Our first new show for 2013 makes fun of both the original series and the movies that spoofed it!  April 20 (Yeah, 4-20, maaaan!) and May 10 (It’s the Friday before Mother’s Day, and you wouldn’t make Mrs. Brady angry by not showing up, would you?!)

Match Game Murder Mystery

How awful! He was _______ed to death!

Match Game Murder Mystery – Just in time for the summer, we have a remounting of the classic TV game show that was bawdy and risqué with a new celebrity panel, including Flo, The Progressive Girl!  June 14 (It’s the Friday before Father’s Day, so what a better gift for him than sex jokes, right?) and July 21 (The Temple of Artemis was destroyed in 356 BC and it’s Don Knotts’ & Robin Williams’ birthday, among others.  This day has had MAJOR things happen, so how could you miss this performance?!)

The Hillbillies From Hell

Y’all ain’t comin’ back now. Ya hear?!

The Hillbillies From Hell – Last summer was the first public “Hillbillies” we have performed since 2009, and it was the fastest-selling and largest-attended show we had all year.  August 25  (We just had to see if we could catch lightning… er… moonshine in a bottle twice!)

The Return of Sherlock Holmes

Déjà vu all over again!

The Return of Sherlock Holmes – Our alternate show, available anytime, is back to be our second spooky performance for October and offer you actual Tarot readings pre-show.  What happens when an evening with a psychic medium goes deadly wrong?  Apparently the spirits of Holmes & Watson possess the bodies of two people and try to solve the case.  This audience favorite sold out in less than three weeks after tickets went on sale in the spring of 2011.  October 25 (We’re not tricking you.  This show is a Treat!!)

Columbo and the Case of the Country Christmas Killer

Those dance steps are a killer!

Columbo and the Case of the Country Christmas Killer – Our biennial holiday show for 2013 is the second coming of our Columbo Christmas show.  And how appropriate that it be two Twos!  November 22 (JFK’s assassination & also the Founding of Denver in 1858) and December 22 (Two Two too much fun right before Xmas!!)

Are you as overwhelmed by the significance of these dates as we are?  Okay, likely not.  But we’ll forgive you… if… you help fill the seats for all 11 shows in 10 months!!  Our March 15th show is close to half full with still a month to go, so you better get your rezzies in, people!  And please call us as 303.408.4246 or e-mail info@moproductions.net with any leads for new venues for us to perform at!  If you provide the name and contact information for a venue and it turns into an actual booking and performance, we will pay you a Finder’s Fee!  You know your neighborhoods better than we do at times, so find us that hidden gem that could host a murder mystery near you!

Thank you, as always for your continued patronage and word of mouth advertising!  If you haven’t done so, sign up for our e-newsletter or subscribe to this blog, and also sign up for Cherokee Ranch & Castle’s weekly e-news.  We are just the tip of the iceberg of their Performing Arts Series: http://cherokeeranch.org/crcPages/register.php

Kind Regards,

Matthew D. Osmun – Owner/Producer/Director
