Thank you, everyone, for 2012!!

Hello, and Happy New Year!!!

What, did you think we wouldn’t send out a newsletter this month because we were busy cramming holiday cookies into our mouths?

Have no fear, because we are here!  This December blog goes out January 1st due to waiting on information that did not come through to us yet.   More explained farther down!

We’d like to take this time to thank all of you: our patrons, venues, coworkers, friends and family for all your support this year.  You helped us have the busiest and biggest year to date!  We changed “home base” venues, had our first really, REALLY big corporate gig at a fancy hotel and conference center, and finally got out of 5th Place for the Denver A-List contest!!

On a personal note, which I rarely do for these monthly missives, I saw a tremendous amount of change in my private life.  In fact, it’s been the most change I’ve ever dealt with in such a short time span.  The world may not have ended this year, but there is certainly something going on in the Universe to throw us off-kilter.  All I can say is have faith, stick to your guns (aka the little voice in the back of your head that you know is always right) and do right by others and yourself, and you will emerge to move forward.

Okay, seriousness aside, because when are we ever serious?  Our holiday show for this year, Have a Holly Jolly Murder, is still available to book for public and private performances through the end of January.  We know there are plenty of companies that do their holiday parties after the holidays, so if you’re one of them please keep us in mind!  We’ve had a good run so far for the show this year.  Our public show at Cherokee Ranch & Castle sold out 6 weeks ahead of time and tonight we performed at a private residence in Boulder as a combined New Year’s Eve party and a Retirement party.  And even though performing at a private home, now matter how large the space is, presents its fair share of challenges, the cast did an outstanding job tonight, and the host of the party told me it was the first time she’d seen some of these people that she’s known for years ever actually smile or audibly laugh.   We’re soooo excited to be performing like this tonight.

We are still in the final stages of planning our 2013 schedule with Cherokee Ranch & Castle, which is the info I was waiting on at the start of the blog.  As soon as we get the schedule we will post it on our calendar and include it in the monthly blog.  So you know, January and February will likely not have any public Murder Mystery at the Castle due to the iffy weather.  However, we are available for private performances at the Castle, given advance notice.  Please contact Linda Gould, the Private Events Manager at Cherokee Ranch & Castle for more info: 303.688.5555.

Please be safe tonight, everyone, have a wonderful New Year and we’ll see you in 2013!

Kind Regards,

Matthew D. Osmun – Owner/Producer/Director
