“As Slain” still slaying ‘em! MO Pro takes on the Big Game!

January 9, 2012

Happy 2012, everyone!

We hope you enjoyed the holidays.  We had a nice break here and are gearing up for what looks like will be our biggest year yet!  Because we’re so busy this will be a short blog.

As Slain on TV is back from a few months-long break.  We will be performing it for the last time at The Broker Restaurant this coming Sunday, and are in negotiations for one last public performance elsewhere in March.  As soon as the paperwork is signed, we will announce that performance.  But for now, here is this Sunday’s info:

As Slain on TV – Sunday, January 15th

@ The Broker Restaurant – 821 17th St, Denver, CO 80202

$40/person includes the show, three course meal, tax & tip.  Bar bill separate.

Reservations Required – Call 303.292.5065 for reservations and parking info.

Don’t forget to check in on either Foursquare or Yelp when you attend a show at The Broker and get a special check-in deal!  Please note you can’t use the deals from both services at the same performance.  It’s limit 1 check-in deal per person, per performance.

MO Productions will next take on going up against the Big Game… with our own Moes!  That’s right!  Will & Grace: Who Killed Stan? will be performing on Sunday, February 5th at The Broker Restaurant.  We know there are plenty of you who aren’t going to be into watching the Big Game that day, so come on out and help Will, Grace, Jack Karen & Rosario solve a silly murder instead.  Who knows?  Maybe Jack will put on his own version of a Half-Time Show?

There is more news to come very soon, but until we have everything solidified we can’t let the proverbial cat out of the bag just yet, folks.  Stayed tuned and we should have big news in our February blog!  In the meantime, we hope to see you this weekend.  Also, don’t forget that MO Productions is available to perform virtually anywhere both publicly and privately, including in your home!  So if you know of a restaurant that you like to go to that would be a good fit for murder mystery, or belong to a club that is looking for something fun to do for the members, have them give us a call at 303.408.4246.  Your word of mouth is still our best advertising, and we appreciate the continued kind words and reviews we receive on our audience surveys and online.

Kind Regards,

We are very excited to debut at The Cork House this month.  They have just finished renovating and relocated their newly expanded bar to the back of the building, and it is fab-u-lous!  Want a great deal and check out the new digs?  Restaurant Week is still going on and you can take advantage of it!  Call 303.355.4488 for The Cork House.

Our new show, As Slain on TV, is coming together nicely, and the new actors we have brought into the group are having a blast!  With the great new talent we’ve brought aboard and the new lower pricing for The Broker and The Cork House, we expect to have a great spring and summer, so call ASAP to get your seats reserved.  Seeing Lady Gaga’s outfits and wigs will be worth the price of admission alone.  Plus we have some wonderfully funny (and naughty) audience participation characters as well as a new group participation bit for this show.  Come out and see it while you can!!

Last month we hinted at another great new venue to perform at, and MO Productions is thrilled to announce that we have secured two public performances at Cherokee Ranch & Castle in Sedalia, CO!!!  We will be performing Limited Engagement – A Musical Murder Mystery on Friday, June 24th and The Return of Sherlock Holmes on Saturday, October 22nd.  More details to come soon.  The June show will be held outside under their tent and the October show will be another special Halloween event inside the castle!  Keep your eyes on our website as well as http://cherokeeranch.org for more information.

The winter is going by so quickly, and we’re looking forward to spring, for sure.  It will soon be time to write our fall and winter shows, which we’re getting a lot of excitement about: Will & Grace: Who Killed Stan? and The Grapes of Death: A Vintage Murder Mystery.  Remember folks, MO Productions has the funniest shows and the most and best audience interaction in the Denver area.  And not only can you come see one of our public shows, you can also hire us to come to your venue for a public or private performance.  We’ll even come to your home with The Hillbillies From Hell, which is perfect for a Home Party!  Call 303.408.4246 today and ask about booking a private or home party show!

Thank you, as always for your continued support.  Please be sure to take advantage of Restaurant Week at The Broker or The Cork House for some great eats and drinks, and we’ll see you at a show soon!
